I'm Pam in Portland

Becoming a photographer was my second choice. I had my sights set on becoming a hard hitting journalist, writing feature articles for newspapers and magazines.Then came New Orleans, the Big Easy, with its intricate lacy balconies and scrolled wrought iron fences, and a chance meeting at the Tip Top Shoe Repair Shop, ninety minutes after arriving, that changed the trajectory of my life.

I left St. Louis a year later, and after working as a photographer's assistant for several years, I began shooting for New Orleans Magazine, MC Media, and other local publications. All the while becoming immersed in New Orleans' diverse culture of food and music, and with lots of hard work, succeeding beyond my wildest dreams.

But the new digs is now the Pacific Northwest, and the backdrop is old growth cypress trees, high top mountains, and the vast Pacific Ocean, igniting my passion to capture beautiful event, food and product photography clients rave about!
